I dunno....this health kick I'm supposedly on while not actually being on a health kick.
Not only have I not had a beer (or ANYTHING alcoholic) for quite a while, I've more or less given up my one remaining vice from my pre-diabetes days - carbonated pop.
Even though I went onto diet pop once the diabetes landed, these days I tend to drink juice far more than pop. In fact, I don't remember the last time I bought fizzy pop. I considered it on Friday, but Renee managed to talk me out of it, and now here I am sipping fruit punch instead.

As said before we don't drink alcohol much anymore, but I think maybe we'll get in some for Christmas or New Years. One has to drink a toast to the holidays doesn't one.

Not tried it myself yet but here's something I was told about the other day.... All you need is some of these.... and a bottle of this... 1 - Soak the skittles in the vodka for a couple of hours 2 - Drink the contents (remove the skittles first!) Apparently the flavour soaks in to make a very fruity flavoured vodka drink. - Drink neat to get full effect - Be careful as to how you drink it because it tastes like pop! (so I heard) so goes down quite well!

If you were around in 1919 (just before prohibition started) and came upon the following poster......... I mean seriously, would you quit drinking?

Had some of this t'other night (Zoot on Coconut Bacardi Breezers)
[glow=red,2,300]The Taste of Hobgoblin[/glow] Traditionally Crafted Legendary Ruby Beer Hobgoblin is strong in roasted malt with a moderate hoppy bitterness and slight fruity character that lasts through to the end.
The ruby red coloured Hobgoblin is full-bodied and has a delicious chocolate toffee malt flavour balanced with a rounded moderate bitterness and an overall fruity character.
