I remember watching Rita, Sue, & Bob for the first time when I was about 11. Late at night, on Channel 4, on the black & white portable I had in my bedroom at the time.
Like Spielberg, I got a kick out of the language, but I remember I could barely hear it. I had to keep the volume down so me mam didn't hear it!
Like a lot of those kind of shows / movies we remember from the 80s, seeing it again as an adult, I have a different perspective, but it's still a good film.
