;D Here... I'd watch that too! N. That's in R Jack's DVD collection. I'm sure he won't mind if you want to borrow it!

;D
Well, I watched the entire Superpup thingy last night. For some reason it cuts to black and white halfway through, but otherwise it stays at the same level of cringeworthy scripting and awful production values. A few to note which did make it amusing in it's own way, albeit for the wrong reasons ;D
To hide the fact that they don't have paws the actors all wear white "Disney" style gloves, like Mickey mouse wears (complete with black stripes down the back) to hide their normal human hands. It doesn't help the illusion though when they stretch so their sleeves ride back to show their normal arms beyond the glove! By the same token, Pamela Poodle(!) has the dog mask and gloves, but normal female human legs and high heeled shoes below her skirt-line with no attempt to cover them or doggify them. And the dog-masks must have made it hard for the actors to see, because every time they came to a door, they'd grope around in the vicinity of the handle like they couldn't see it, as though they just vaguely knew where it was. Made it seem like some of the characters were blind.
Also, they must have REALLY screwed the cars they used. At one point during a police chase distant shots of the police car were fine. Closeups through the windscreen showed steam pouring out of the radiator. Not to mention the fact that halfway through the villains used a totally different car. They actually drew attention to this by inserting a scene where Bark Bent's pet mouse (who lives in his desk drawer) explained that their other car was brand new and they didn't want to damage it in the police chase. Hehe, nuts.
STILL, I don't think it was as bad as the Peter Kay ep of Doctor Who, on here last Friday. I'm considering emailing the BBC and Sci Fi channel to ask for that wasted hour of my life back. ;D

This review makes me want the thing even more, but I shall have to wait 'til me birthday - it just sounds as funny as fook!!! As to the Peter Kay thing - it IS as sh*te as innit? When you email 'em, ask me for an hour back too will ye - I could get a few good cacks in, which would have been far more productive. N.
