Yep - let's not diss the accents - a belting film! You REALLY want Yanks putting on sh*t English accents - check out Frasier, and The Simpsons - feckin' DIRE! N. The weird thing is Jane Leeves from Fraiser IS English (and an ex-Benny hill girl)

She gets on my t*ts pandering to the American audience by trying to be 'even more English' - i.e. fitting a stereotype... all these comments about her 'Grammy Moon' - mentions of 'Kidney Pie' and 'Blood Pudding' - it's WELL overdone!
But could be worse... could be an 'Austalian Accent' as done on The Simpsons - now that is cringeworthy.
N.
P.S. Did someone say 'Cuthbert'?
;D

I can't even understand what you English say half the time - how could I ever hope to replicate it?
I am thinking of signing up for an online Berlitz course though. It's called "Lwt's Talk Wwlsh!"
But anyway, Spinal Tap is a riot!

You wouldn't think we shared a Common Language! To paraphrase Shaw, we're two people, separated by a common language.Ah...yes. Crumpets. You know, they now sell crumpets in our local shop....!
Tiffin is a little more expensive, and they don't sell that at the store.
But you can buy it a few streets down...

;D as dear Mr. Wilde said: "There's only one thing worse than being talked about... and that's being a voice artiste on 'The Simpsons' attempting a 'bladdy jen-hue-wine Orrstaylian Ayccent!" N.

I LOVE Spinal Tap! 'There was a stone henge monument, in fear of being crushed by a dwarf!' Howdy Smeg! Great quote - great film! I've got the scriptbook and CDs which are excellent by the way... back to Stonehenge though... "Where the cats meow!" love that song! N.
