 Dave Spikey, one of best stand-ups at the moment. Some good observational stuff with some good old fashioned gags thrown in (for free!, in fact no, for a pound!) Not as pompous as his old friend Peter Kay! Love his Wigan stuff he does... "I was at a petrol station at Hindley Green the other day, I said to the woman behind the counter 'Excuse me love, have you got an airline', she said 'we haven't even got a bus station!" and.... "Driving through Newtown last week, I stopped this bloke, I said 'Excuse me, can you tell me how you get to the JJB stadium?' he said 'me bruvver teks me'!" also like the daft jokes he tells.... 'Two snowmen in a field. One turns round to the other and says "Can you smell carrots"' 'Two flies on a piece of poo. 1st one says "I've not seen you for ages", the other one replies with "I know, I've been on the sick!"' 'Two snakes in a field. One says "Are we poisonous?" other one says, "I don't know... why?"... "I've just bit my lip" |
