I THINK it was about August time. It was advertised in the St Helens Star, and St Helens Reporter. Will find out though, cos I want to go myself.

Chubs normally charges around 20 quid a ticket these days. I don't think he's worth that much anymore to be honest. I'd pay up to a tenner.

Did anyone see the documentary about Chubs last night on channel 4? I thought it was very interesting. A lot of stuff was mentioned from his autobiography, but it was interesting to see 'Royston Vasey' attempt to separate his character 'Chubby' to that of his own.
It must be said, there wasn't really any difference between the two, but I suppose that's the only real way he can justify doing the jokes he does. He obviously doesn't see anything wrong in telling a few racist jokes.
One comment he did make which I agree with was the one about not being allowed to have an opinion on things these days, because if you do, you're automatically branded as being racist.

You've pretty much said it all there Boss, A very interesting show.
I thought he's very much of the Bernard Manning school of Anything is fair game for a joke.
