The greatest sitcom ever made, in my opinion.
John Cleese was absolutely perfect. I love how all of his suppressed rage was let out when he played Basil. It makes me feel better about myself in that I'm a very tempestuous person, and it's good to know that they can actually be quite endearing.
I love Manuel. I wish I could put him in my pocket and carry him around with me.

A lot of people say it's a good thing that they only did 12 episodes. Maybe they're right. It could've died a death if they did a third series or more... But we'll never know! There was a rumour not that long ago about bringing it back. Please don't! It's been too long now. |
