I have been watching episodes of Days of our Lives from January 2009. I just started following it so I missed most of this years. Its nice to see how some of the events now came to be. I am also trying to get through all the boxsets I own. So far I managed to watch all but five episodes Dallas season one and Season one and half of season two of the Gilmore Girls. I get most of my boxsets from a local pawn shop so they are not too expensive. I have told myself not to buy anymore tv box sets until most of what I have are finished. Hopefully I can resist.

Obviously, Dr Who on Christmas Day Also, several films over the holiday period: Night at the Museum 2, Ice Age 3, Harry Potter & the Half Blood Prince, Blood the Last Vampire (very festive!) to name a few... Then the Top Gear special last night - which was brilliant as usual

I recorded the Dr Who the other moring. It was on from 3am-9am. I haven't had a chance to check the disc but I have a feeling it didn't record good. I was sleeping on the couch due to a stuffy nose and I heard the dvd-r make a screeching noise. Yikes!! Not sure why it was doing that. But if it did record that's what I will be watching tonight.

Watched the new Star Trek movie on DVD. Rather good it was too.
Even Renee, who's the most diehard Trek purist ever, admits it 'wasn't bad' which for her is practically saying she loved it.
Also saw....impersonates Ian McDiarmid's voice..... "Something, something, something, DARK SIDE" which, although I thought started out slowly, turned out to be easily as funny as Blue Harvest, possibly moreso. Sadly, I haven't yet watched the DVD extras, since almost as soon as I watched it, I lent it to a friend (who I borrowed Star Trek from at the same time) and haven't got it back yet.
And...DON'T LAUGH...I've also developed a soft spot, when I come across it, for "The Penguins of Madagascar" on Nickelodeon.

Watched a couple of decent films recently and a couple of so-so ones..... I'd recommend Warlords starring Jet Li! Great drama. Also been carrying on with our Police Academy series Wasn't over-struck with Blade 2....... but then again, the baddie owed me nothing (it was Luke Goss!!)
