Robin Of Sherwood still on here... it's "Robin Of Sherwood" day apparently on ITV4 - but I'm going to go out in a bit, so I'll have to miss some of it!

Watched "Batman" (Tim Burton one) - by cack it's dated now... and the music gets on yer waz (yip... Mr. Elfman's 'Simpson'esque tunes) - but Jack Nicholson's reet in it! So I'll give him that. N.

Watched a few things today: "Batman Returns" - a corker, far better than the first! "Batman Forever" - still a cracker - less 'dark' but more humour. "Sons Of The Desert" - need I say more? N.

Watched a ton of the extras from the Superman DVDs, including the Making of Superman II, a documentary about the making of the Fleischer cartoons, and, bizarrely, included on Superman II, the Superman 50th Anniversary TV special, done (obviously) in 1988.
Weird show. A spoof documentary about Superman and Metropolis, starring actors in the roles of the people who know Superman, Lois, etc, interspersed with footage of Superman all the way from Kirk Alynn to Chris Reeve in IV. Presented by Dana Carvey. Funny, interesting, etc, but it would have been nice to have had a serious docu for Superman's 50th. Also interestingly, they left the commericial transition screens in.
Fun way to waste a Christmas Eve afternoon.

Watched: Batman & Robin - Scwartzenegger's good in it - but Clooney is wooden as f*ck and the film's generally cack! Also watched 2 episodes of "The Prisoner": "The Schizoid Man" "Many Happy Returns" Top stuff! N.

I've just watched a Laurel & Hardy film 'Jitterbugs'. One of their later films they did for 20th Century Fox. Nowhere near as funny as any of the Hal Roach era but not too bad a film.
