Watched Adam Sandler's Mr Deeds last night. Mrs L didn't really enjoy it, but I found it really funny. He (Deeds) wrote rhymes for cards, and being a bit of a daft (crap, according to Mrs L) rhyme writer myself, they appealed to me.
The first was:
"I love you completely, With all my soul, Without you I'm nothing, An unbuttered roll."
The second was:
"I promise to love you for fifty years more' Even when your bosoms sag down to the floor."
;D ;D

My eldest stayed at her friend's house the other night, and her friend's Dad was off work because he has tennis elbow. I suffer from both tennis and golfer's elbow(s) and have had it for nearly five years with no improvement. Had many attempts at different treatments all to no avail, so I live with it.
My daughter came home and told us that she had told Michael that I had had it for years and that the psychiatrist had told me to get a different job .
I'm sure she meant physiotherapist ! ;D

I've just been watching Takeshi's Castle with the kids ( a weird Japanese game show for those of you who don't know) and they had a game called "Uphill Gardening". The contestants were dressed as various things, including love spuds and some quite phallic looking things. Craig Charles ' commentary was full of such gems as "keep your ring safe and out of sight in case it gets penetrated". It went straight over the kid's heads, and they kept asking me what was so funny.

I inadvertantly sent a very rude text to my friend's home number. It went on to his answerphone, which has a loudspeaker. Good job he lives alone ! ;D ;D

Have you ever been surprised by your own mouth? I made myself laugh today.... mostly out of embarrassment.... when I got my words confused talking to a customer (who thankfully didn't understand much English!) Trying to spell something I resorted to using the phonetic alphabet... That's when my mouth decided that Yankee started with a W ....I heard myself say "so that's Y for w*nky"!!!!! ;D How am I still in a job?!
