Carrying on from 'The Young Ones' but leaving behind 'Filthy, Rich & Catflap', Eddie Hitler & Richard Richard, two sad tw*ts who could never get a shag! I enjoyed Bottom, (although there are some weak episodes!) Favourite moments... When they beat the shit out of the gasman & The Spicy Sprouts! RICHIE: Gold.... Frankenstein....... and Grrrr!
RICHIE: Now can we just get our equipment out! I mean get our tackle out... no I mean get our GEAR out, oh god! You can't say anything without some dreadful double entendre lurking around the corner!
RICHIE: What was that film where they ate each other? EDDIE: "Deep Throat", wasn't it? RICHIE: What about pin the tail on the donkey? EDDIE: We haven't got a donkey. RICHIE: Well er, pin the tail on the chicken. EDDIE: We haven't got a tail. RICHIE: Well pin the sausage on the chicken. EDDIE: We haven't got a chicken. RICHIE: Well pin the sausage on the fridge. EDDIE: Or a pin. RICHIE: Sellatope a sausage to the fridge. EDDIE: We haven't got a sausage. RICHIE: Put a bit of Sellotape on the fridge! EDDIE: Not much of game is it.

Best bits for me involved either Spud Gun or Little Dave Hedgehog! "What I can't understand is... why when he says 'Trick Or Treat' does he have to foul himself?" Best character though... our very own Mr. Spielberg... erm, I mean Mr. Rottweiller. "It's them tew basturds fram next do-wer!" ;D N.

I love Bottom...my personal favourite moment is when Richie and Eddie were making their own current affairs programme which went wrong (with Richie falling down the stairs) and which eventually led to them recording an 'accident' - a dart in Eddie's eye. That bit was an absolute gem. I love Rik and Ade!

I thought there was a 'Bottom' spin-off on tonight. Flicking channels I got to BBC1.
I didn't know Ade Edmondson was in Holby City. I don't watch H.C., but I stuck with it for a couple of minutes just in case 'Eddie' started a fight with a bed-pan or somert!
Sadly he never did, and he didn't use his 'Eddie/ Vyvyan' voice either. What a let down!
Total Shite!

I loved Bottom. But I find it disconcerting to see Ade Edmondson doing straight roles. I find myself thinking 'Go on, do the silly voice and attack someone with a rubber baseball bat' ;D

There's a character in that who looked just like Ade Edmondson. When I first saw it, there's a very serious scene with this bloke taking orders preparing for a battle in the Vietnam war. After all the orders were given out, I expected him to shout... "Okie Dokie Matey!" ;D
