Great early Channel 4 comedy starring the incomparable Simon Callow and Brenda Blethyn. Tom Chance is a man for whom outrageous coincidence is a daily routine. They spent three series exploring every possible take on this premise, before the strange couple finally got hitched. Very underrated, but cracking

I absolutely loved this. Why on earth did they not make more? all my friends at the time liked it too, so it couldnt ve bin the ratings could it?

They made three series but I think Callow and Blethyn probably had lots of other offers to do stuff.
