I don't know if Dave would be bothered coming on here, as he is a member on one of his own fan forums 'The Funny Farm'. A few of us on here are members. He'd be very welcome though, and if you want to get in touch with him that's up to you. You might have to sign up to get contact. www.davespikey.net/boards/index.phpP.S. - he uses gerald berry as member name! P.P.S - Why have I not asked him myself? I don't like to mither!

I've only seen the dave.spikey.net one! I might contact him. He 'sort of' knows of me because of the 'Funny Farm' forum. Failing that, I'll see him next week anyway at Runcorn. Front row too, right in the middle! ;D

And he knows me... I'm always flogging his signed stuff for charity.
Still never met him in person though!

When I was a kid living in Bolton he only lived round the corner from me just off Vernon St. None of us remember each other from those days but our paths must have crossed quite a few times. When you see him.

Well, the show went very well. Dave was on form. Some old stuff and also some new material I've not heard before. Sadly, photography wasn't allowed in the auditorium. However, we managed to meet Dave in person in his dressing room, prior to the show. I got my Dave Spikey DVD's signed and got a photo with the man himself... Dave was beltin'! We spent about ten minutes with him altogether and had a few laughs. We also me Steve Royle, his support act (the juggler one) Re: Columbo's questions (in the stand-ups section) I asked Dave what his favourite film was. He wasn't to sure because there are so many to choose from. He settled with 'Shawshank Redemption'. And, he last had a Barry White, 10 minutes before we met him! ;D

Aha! Glad to here he'd had a cack first - I do that, always better - and I think he's a vegetarian, so that'll keep him regular! As to the film - I'll have that as a good answer - a good film too! Better than Bruce Dickinson who just said "I don't know" and couldn't be *rsed thinking! Glad you had a good do! N.

I enjoyed Dave's reaction to Bluebottle taking my photo...
BB was on his knees. The camera didn't seem to be focusing on our faces...
DAVE - What the f*ck are you taking a photo of there? ME - Oh you have to watch him, he's an internet porn photographer!
NO SHAME!!!
