Not really...I was having a book signed at what used to be Forbidden Planet in Manchester. I waited in line, had the book signed, shook hands and said thank you, and left. Still incredibly cool though. That's more or less what I did with Tom. I don't know why, but I felt intimated slightly when I was face to face with him. I couldn't think of anything to ask him, some sad sod had already asked him if he would like a 'jelly baby'!  |

Yeah, you bought me said book a week earlier as a Christmas prezzie - then we saw the notice for the signing, and I went back a week later with the book. Don't think you came back with me though, did you? |

GOOD NEWS!Tom's Back on as the BT message voice!  For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, simply send a text from your mobile to your landline phone, and Tom Baker will read it out! He'll say absolutely anything, which makes it funnier!

I remember in one episode of Dr Who, Baker got out a bag of sweets and said 'Jelly baby?' to some weird alien life form. But he actually had liquorice allsorts, no jelly babies. Effing swindle! Did they think we were blind?   |
