I'm usually in a minority (often of one ;D) when I say I like Summer Wine. But I do and still never miss an ep. Granted, it's not the show it was with Bill Owen, but I kind of like the gentle humour, the wonderful location and the old duffers getting up to increasingly ludicrous antics ;D

Used to love this... especially the early stuff with 'Blamire'... I even enjoyed the 'Seymour Utterthwaite' stuff too... and 'Crusher' - but now...
Nah, can't be mithered.
Mind you - can still play the tune on me mouth organ - so it's all good!
N.
P.S. - that's 'Harmonica' - so no oral sex gags please.
P.P.S. - nor any 'our Monica' jokes!!!
;D ;D ;D

P.P.S. - nor any 'our Monica' jokes!!! ;D ;D ;D As if We would do a thing like that! ;D I used to watch 'LOTSW' regularly around '82-'85, when they had Compo in the Deep sea diver's suit, riding a bath down the lane and all that. When Nora Batty's husband was in it. (Him off the old 'Hovis' adverts. I stopped watching it when Brian Wilde left for the first time and got replaced with 'Seymour'. I didn't take to him and haven't really watched it proper since..... Call me weird if you like but it wasn't that long ago I had a very realistic dream about being in 'Holmfirth'. It was so strange, I woke up with a sudden desire to actually go there. So I did! (accompanied by mr. Zygon) Good day out it was too, apart from the manky chippy!

Yeah, I love the show personally.
Them Chips were crap tho'.
In fact we have a strange ability to find dodgy Chippys on Day's out don't we Spielberg!

We do indeed. The worst chippy was that one in Billinge though. They got thrown away (If I remember rightly) At least I ate all my Holmfirth ones, but only because I was starving!
