Watched this again the other day... a Channel 4 spoof of Patrick McGoohan's 'The Prisoner' featuring Jules Hooland, Spephen Fry and Stanley Unwin! Also - featuring... Siouxsie & The Banshees, XTC and Magnum! By heck, we ARE going back - this was done in 1967... then 20 years after the original it was spoofing. Basically... Jules resigns from Channel 4 and wakes up in the village as a prisoner (Number 7), Fry is 'Number 2' and the incomprehensible Mr. Unwin playes No. 3. Of course - No. 6 appears curtesy of old film clips... usually seen skulking in bushes and sulking! Generally, this is WELL dated, but is still quite charming and quite well done - filmed in Portmeirion (same as the original) and accurately depicted set pieces and costumes... plus some good lines and scenes. "He's seen more Number Twos than the Gent's Lavatory at Waterloo Station".
[scene throwing a stick for 'Rover]
[Corny 'orange alert' scene where an orange rolls by and No. 7 has to chase it]More Info HereInteresting stuff. N.

I've got the edited version that C4 showed A while back when they reapeated the Prisoner on tape somewhere.
