Seeing that the 2nd Best Animated Comedy gets a post in here (i.e. The Simpsons) I thought we'd better have the Number One - FAMILY GUY!

A drole talking dog with a drink problem.

A Noel Cowerdesque sociopathic infant with a penchant for the most excellent retorts and puns amidst his attempts on his mother's life.

An evil monkey in the closet.

And some of the surrealist moments in television history that make the Young Ones and Narnia look like an advert for tax returns (by that I mean completely off the wall).

And to top it off? Peter Griffin.

The dad - obnoxious yet loveable... licenced to fart, say 'penis' inappropriately... true comedy!

I bought the "Freaking Sweet Collection" last night, and, well, it's freaking sweet.

Seth's five favourite episodes, including my personal favourite, "Road To Rhode Island" with a bloody hilarious commentary by Brian and Stewie, which, for those who haven't heard it, is mostly Seth MacFarlane arguing with himself in character as both of them.

In a sense, better than the actual episode!

And finally, FINALLY, after being tormented by Columbo about it years ago, I can tell him I finally own a Family Guy DVD!!
