Right now it's in pieces on the bedroom floor, but on the occasions its been hooked up, I love it. Why is it in pieces? Haven't looked in this thread since you asked me this! No real reason it's in pieces, except I'm a tinkerer and pulled it apart to see if I could scavenge anything - before putting it in this PC I tried putting the DVD ROM in the Mac, but it didn't work. So I put the Mac back together. I should say it's in components not pieces, all it would need would be to be connected up and it would work fine.

Cool - ta for the smiley tips!
Mr Shake - so there's nothing wrong with it? I'm not surprised the DVDROM from the PC didn't work in the MAC!

In fact, the Mac is now back together (with it's original CD ROM), hooked up, and working. It's in the spare room to use to play music CDs so we can turn it into a space just to sit and read. Coz I'm a tinker, I plan to install Mac OS 9.2.2 a little later. In fact, since I'm on the subject (and I sort of like my Mac), it looks a lot like this one, except my mouse isn't as fancy. Oh, and the DVDROM did work, sort of. The Mac recognised it as a CD ROM, and I could run any of my Mac CDs on it or play music CDs, just that it didn't recognise any DVDs when I put them in. And Zoot, it's M aster Shake, with an A, not M ister with an I, but since I like you, just Shake'll do.

That's what most folk do.
Just plain ol' Shake.
Well, actually, the character my profile is based on is not plain, he's actually green pistachio, but we'll not get into that.
;D

You mucky sods - it's pistachio milkshake, as evidenced in this pic, taken JUST after Shake used his Aqua Teen super power to -- well -- spew pistachio through his straw.

Gawd, that looks like what's been spewing out of someone's, who will remain nameless, nose.
