Police Academy

It was only a matter of time before I had to mention the Police Academy films! 7 of them (and one currently in the making)

They are stuck in the eighties a bit, but I enjoyed them at the time. I reckon the first one's the best, then were OK up to number 4, then after that, they got a bit poo. Mission to Moscow (7) was utter shite, not funny at all. I don't know why they are bothering to make number 8!

I enjoyed the character Zed. (Him with the weird voice. Used to do an impression of him!) And he got off with a fit bird!



In Homer Simpson's opinion, the only thing funny about Police Academy was "That guy who did the sound effects"



And have you seen that chap on ITV's continuity thingy, usually on just before Corrie. he looks just like Captain Harris (G.W. Bailey)

I loved the first one. In fact all the ones with Steve Guttenberg are pretty decent, but after he went they seemed to lose the plot.

"Tackleberry" - he were good and an excellent name!

I can't believe that I watched them all as each one was released. I think most people did. But they really deteriorated each movie. The Blue Oyster Bar, squeeky voice going rough, etc, etc. You could write the script yourself for a new movie (which I didn't even know they were making!!)

I enjoyed most of these myself. In fact, it was from "Their First Assignment" I got my name.
Zed was the funniest character. He wasn't in enough of them.
