 Didn't like the first series at all. I didn't think it was funny, but after that it got a lot better and a lot funnier. Personally, I think series four was best, although I do like 2 & 3! Enjoyed the special 'Back & Forth' too. Hoorah! Blackadder: This place stinks like a pair of armoured trousers after the Hundred Years War. Baldrick, have you been eating dung again?
Blackadder: I'm as poor as a church mouse, that's just had an enormous tax bill on the very day his wife ran off with another mouse, taking all the cheese.

Shouldn't be too hard... Blackadder was probably some of the best comedy ever.
Even Season One is a complete riot.
I know that a lot of people don't like season one. It really has a different feel to it, doesn't it? But it is still absolutely GREAT!

Thanks for bringing life back to this thread. I thought it were just me who was a Blackadder fan.
As I said in june last year, I was never keen on the 1st series.

So, moving on from The Black Adder, ie, the first season, which many think is about as popular as a fart in church...
On to my personal fave - Blackadder II.
Perhaps I just have a thing for guys in goatees...
Is it me, or is Rowan Atkinson actually hot in this series? I mean.... *whew!*
Lord Percy Percy, however, as hard as he tries... is not.

I loved Blackadder II, I just wish it was shown more over here. Funny thing I didn't realize that Rowan Atkinson was the same actor that did Mr. Bean, if I had I would never had watched the show. I must admit that I do like "The Thin Blue Line" too.
