Went to the cinema with Zygon to see this... let's just say I HATED IT at the time and then...

Yep - I'm only human... and I have my faults, quirks and foibles!

By heck... sounds like a firm of solicitors...

"Hello - Faults, Quirks and Foibles... sorry, Mr. Quirks isn't in - can I refer you to the other two gents?"

Anyhow - what's all this about?

Well, just to say - opinions are subject to change, as are tastes... I spent years as an omnivore before I turned veggie...

And the same applies to me taste in fillums...

I once made this comment on a forum re "Shaun Of The Dead":

I HATED it!

I love the Romero films but I couldn't STAND that... I was very disappointed to say the least and wished I hadn't gone to see it... but then again, I'm not a fan of Simon Pegg/Spaced so that didn't help matters.

Although... a wee fact for you - Simon Pegg does do a cameo role as a zombie in the 'Land Of The Dead' film... so fair play to him... and I know that George A. Romero is a fan of the 'Shaun' film, which is high praise indeed...

But a gobby student nurse with an affliction of bad jokes and verbal diarrhoea didn't like it... but I'm sure Mr. Pegg won't lose sleep over that!

And then... I watched a bit of it on Sky... then a bit more and thought: "Actually, this is pretty well done... I never gave the thing a chance!"

I've never seen this.

I heard that many bad reports about it, it put me off, and not being a zombie film fan myself, wouldn't appreciate it.

Yep -should imagine if you liked neither 'Spaced'/Simon Pegg nor Zombie flicks then it would just look cack anyway.

I have to agree I am not a fan of Zombie Movies but I loved this I just thought it was 1 of the best films I have seen in ages.

I had never seen any of Simon Peggs work before I saw this , and I thought it was very very funny , I really liked the bit at the beginning where he goes to the shop for something and he doesn`t notice that everybody has turned into Zombies , even going through his pockets for loose change when he thinks one of them is a bum looking for a handout , great fun , We have just got his latest on DVD "Hot Fuzz"and I thought that was great too.
