Potter is prince of evil
www.news.com.au/sundaytelegraph/story/0,,20324620-5001021,00.html
HARRY Potter is downright evil - hiding "the signature of the king of darkness, the devil" - according to the Vatican's chief demon-basher.
Father Gabriele Amorth, who is Pope Benedict XVI's senior exorcist, claims UK author J.K. Rowling's global hit books contain innumerable positive references to magic, "the satanic art".
"Behind Harry Potter hides the signature of the king of the darkness, the devil," he told Vatican Radio.
Questions.. 1) Who the hell listens to Vatican radio? 2) Do they do a top of the popes chart show? (work with me!!)

Shaving less than once a day could increase a man's risk of having a stroke by around 70%
researchers have found.
The link between needing to shave infrequently and stroke risk emerged from a 20-year study of over 2,000 men aged 45-59 in Caerphilly, south Wales.
At the time the study began, in the late 70s, the prevailing trend was to be clean-shaven, so infrequent grooming is unlikely to be due to a desire for designer stubble.
And does it go down if I scratch my ass more times in a day to compensate as well..

'Adware' attack on privacy tool
Software that claimed to provide increased privacy whilst surfing the web has been criticised by computer experts and the blogging community.
The application Browzar has been branded "adware" by many because it directs web searches to online adverts.
Some technical experts also say Browzar, which claims to leave no trail of webpages visited, does not work.
Browzar's developers say they are examining the feedback but strongly deny that it is adware.
Mr Ajaz Ahmed, founder of internet service provider Freeserve and the man behind Browzar, told the BBC News website that he thought people were misusing the term.
"This is not adware at all," he said. "Like every search engine, Browzar has sponsored advertising."
Adware is typically a piece of software that generates advertising on a user's computer.
The Browzar website states the application contains "no malware, no spyware and no adware".
Firefox wins again!!

World's chimney sweeps descend on Italian village
Around 1,000 chimney sweeps, joined by children with soot-blackened faces, descended on an Italian mountain village for the 25th annual celebration of their old profession.
Sweeps from Europe and the United States arrived for three days of folk spectacles in Santa Maria Maggiore, the village in Italy's northern Piedmont region which is considered the home of chimney sweeping.
I bet they can do better cockney accents than Dick Van Dyke though

McDonald's tackles prickly issue of hedgehog-friendly ice cream
US fast food giant McDonald's announced it had gone hedgehog-friendly, following a long running campaign waged by British lovers of the prickly mammals.
McDonald's said it had redesigned cups and lids for its McFlurry ice cream so that they were no longer a danger to the animals.
The British Hedgehog Preservation Society (BHPS) said it had spent more than five years campaigning against the containers, claiming that countless creatures had died by getting their heads stuck inside when trying to eat left-over ice cream.
McDonald's UK said it had invested "significant research and testing" into designing their new cup, which features a smaller opening meaning customers have to remove the lid to eat the dessert.
I've always wondered why they McFluries HAD that stupid plastic thing on them anyway. What purpose does it surve, the ice cream is think enough when you buy it so it's not to stop spillage, also the spoon will stand up in said thick ive cream. I think this is an answers on a postcard thing..

The Federal Vampire and Zombie Agency
I wonder if this is Whitehouse funded...
I found this on Fark, they were highlighting "The Top Three Zombie Outbreaks in U.S. History"
Wonder if we've had an invasion in Blighty, and I don't suppose the combined cast of the tv soaps over here count do they.
