Mr. T has turned down a cameo role in the new ‘A-Team’ movie. The star – who played BA Baracus in the hit 80s series – has also blasted the producers of the film for deciding to replace him with a new actor. Mr. T, real name Lawrence Tureaud, said: “The producer was talking to me about it. Then he insulted me by saying, ‘We’re doing an ‘A-Team’ movie, but we want to use other guys for the characters, but we’ll find a part for you.’ I just found it insulting putting me in the movie with someone else playing the character I used to play.” The cult series – starring George Peppard, Dirk Benedict, Dwight Schultz and Mr. T - followed the adventures of four on-the-run Vietnam War veterans, Murdoch, Face, Hannibal and BA, who had been framed for a crime they didn’t commit. Shooting on the movie is rumoured to be starting next year. (borrowed from canadanow.com!)

Who's going to be in it?
Last I heard, there was a rumour of Vhing Rhames as B.A.

I didn't know the 'movie' idea was back on track. (until now) I heard about it a few years back, but nothing came of it...
I shall investigate....

Funnily enough, I'd heard it was to be Gibson for Hannibal... but what with his recent 'Anti-Jewish' cack, I can't see him getting work now!
Hmm... maybe Jim Carey could do a decent Murdoch.
As for Hannibal... coudn't Ken Goodwin do it:
"We're gettinga good plan together aren't we?"
"Oh Murdoch give o'er... we'll all have belly ache in a minute!"
;D

Yep!
We'll go with comedians... living and/or dead.
Obviously I'm going to say Charlie Williams for B.A. because he's the only really famous black comedian from that era (Gary Wilmott were too young... Lenny Henry - too crap).
"Nuthen flower... ah'm reet mithered... nubbut thy're guntta get me on no plane me auld fruit!"
As for 'Face' - has to be Roy Walker - that expression.
Which leaves Murdoch.
No doubts...
Frank Carson!
You KNOW it!

Not to rain on anyone's parade, but that article is 5 years old....well out of date by now...
It says they want to make an A Team movie hot on the heels of Charlie's Angels...
