MOODY AND PEGG
1970s series that successfully mixed comedy and drama, starring Derek Waring as antique dealer Roland Moody and Judy Cornwell as civil servant Daphne Pegg. Both move into a new property with the intention of leaving their past behind them. He is escaping from matrimonial disharmony that ended in divorce whilst she has made for London after realising that her boss has no intention of marrying her. But they soon discover that they have fallen foul of a disreputable estate agent who has sold them both the same lease.
