This is gotta be classed of one of the best comedy dramas of the 80's. The 1st series being the best of all though. I did enjoy the 2nd series nearly as much. When they brought it back years later, I thought it worked. It was good to see them all back together. Shame on Bomber though who was knackered! The 4th series was poor. it went a bit silly having Neville becoming a 'James Bond' type character and Oz getting off with that ballerina woman. Then they saw sense, did a two-part special, which again wasn't great, but had a nice ending I thought!

Yep, I agree with you Speil...If they'd left it after Series 3 it would have been better. Donkey Sh**e says Oz to you for starting this thread

I haven't seen the two latter series since they haven't made it stateside, but I did like the first two series...I never really watched it as a kid, but years later when channel 4 repeated it, I watched the whole thing and loved it.

No, I don't think so....I think they MIGHT have done that at some point, but I seem to recall watching full hour-long episodes.
I might be wrong though.

It was If I remember ITV at either 7-30 or 8 that they were spilt...Can't remember when BUT it was the 1st time I saw the 1st series
