Mike Leigh's finsest creation in my book! Plot Summary for "Play for Today" -Nuts in May (1976)
Their Morris packed to the gills, the punctilious Keith and the more spontaneous Candice-Marie arrive at a Dorset campground where they pay £10 in advance for ten nights. It's peaceful: they visit Corfe Castle, eat vegetarian food, and go in search of raw milk. Then a fellow with a loud radio pitches his tent near theirs: Keith is beside himself and it doesn't help when Candice-Marie decides to befriend the young man. Things get worse when a couple arrive on a motorcycle, make noisy love in their tent, and then start an illegal campfire. It's too much for Keith: he loses it. Will our middle-class couple find a bucolic corner, or are they doomed to brawl with the noisy and unwashed?
Absolutely belting - I highly recommend this! A good link here which includes clips too - Click To SeeN.

I think I remember seeing this, vaguely... I'll come back to this and watch some of the clips. See if it jogs my memory.

Yep... but remember to wear the right footwear if jogging.
A kind of reference to this thing...
They have plimsolls for clambering on the rocks, boots for hiking, plus their normal walking shoes!
;D
Also - here's my favourite line... they get into a bit of an altercation with a couple of Brummies they rather disapprove of... and they're a bit noisy coming home form the pub at night... this dialogue is classic:
Finger: Get back to your tent! Keith and you get back to your tenements!
And the bit where they get Welsh P.E. teacher to join them in on the song they've done for banjo and guitar is cringworthy:
Keith: Your turn Ray - "I want to see the zoo she said, I want to see the zoo". Think you can remember that?
;D

Oh my yes, absolutely hilarious. The scene when they persuaded Ray to join in their song is priceless as is the fight between Keith and Ray. Haven't seen this for years unfortunately, must see if I can track down a copy from somewhere (easier said than done out here). Ta for the link - sadly us non-UK residents can't view the clips, probably because we're evil and smelly, but there are a couple of YouTube links worth watching: www.youtube.com/watch?v=p1fjIjG5A3Mwww.youtube.com/watch?v=D-NdD_NpCjc
