I rate Lee Evans as one of the best Stand-Ups in the country. In fact, I'd go as far as saying he's better than Peter Kay.
He sweats a lot, but he has some great observational stuff. I love the way he will impersonate anything, like a 10 pence piece that falls out your pockets when you get undressed whilst p*ssed!
His 'Bohemian Rhapsody' routine is very good too, which is probably what boosted his popularity!

I agree a watched him a couple of weeks ago when he was on BBC1
His observation comedy is hilarious
He made one statement I thought was BRILLIANT
"Bats are blind, yet they only come out at night." "What's the Difference??" ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Never found Evans even remotely funny. You aren't the first person I have heard who has said that. He must be a love him/loathe him type of person. Personally, I think he is great. Got all his DVD's recently to replace my VHS.

(so it's not just me then!) Not at all. Know quite a few fans. Who can fail to laugh the first time they see the Bohemian Rhapsody one. Or "blue hair". Or "I fell over". Lots of classics. His slapstick humour as well is very old style.

Just bought the 6 DVD box set of Lee Evans cheap in Asda...
I already had the last two shows, but it was worth the price for the first four. I've already sold one of them for 3 quid, so it worked out cheaper!
Watched the first show (from 1994) last night. You could tell how new he was to doing live shows compared to his later stuff at Wembley and the XL tour one. He's improved loads since then!
One interesting routine featured Lee demonstrating how your mum dances at parties! (Sounds familiar...) Remember Mr. Kay, this was Lee Evans in 1994, a few years before you came along.

Nice one. If he decides to do another tour, I wouldn't mind seeing him live. In fact, I might just do a bit of research and see...

...If he decides to do another tour, I wouldn't mind seeing him live. I've just booked tickets to go and see Lee Evans next year at the M.E.N. (Thursday 13th November) Before I got disconnected I was trying for ages to get decent seats. Luckily, when I checked earlier, another date was added, which meant I managed to get good seats.
