Billy Is now more recognized for doing his World Tour programme's
than he is for doing his stand up.
Considering the The Big Yin as he also known started of live working as a welder in the factories near where he grew up,
you have to admit he has not done to bad for himself.
Billy's style of comedy covers both observational comedy the same as Lee Evans, Jasper Carrot and others and also musical comedy.
If there is one song that most people will think of when they think of the Big Yin it will be his version of the Village People's
In The Navy Called.
IN THE BROWNIES
Trust me the sight of Billy dressed as a Brownie is one that you don't forget very easily!!!
Billy has performed a lot of gags and has come up with many songs that are not only memorable but also funny.
My personal favorite has got to be Wellies. Now for those of you who don't know this is a song about that item of clothing that nearly everyone has had a pair of at some point in their lives the Humble Wellington Boot. And it goes something like this.
