Remember this one?
2 Series, 1st one way back in 1990, Channel 4.
Robert Lyndsay, James Ellis & David Threlfall... about 3 security guards.
I rated it... not seen it for yonks.
Anyone else remember it?

Yep, I remember it. I've got both series in dodgy quality VCD format somewhere. I normally don't like anything with Robert Lindsay in it, but Nightingales was pretty good, as I recall.

lol, have ye got EVERYTHING on a 'dodgy' format?
Ye cheap git - most places are doing that for a tenner.
Me?
Nah... I'm not buying it... I've bought these DVDs this month:
Early Doors (Series 1 & 2) The Day Of The Triffids (BBC Serial Version) 10 Rillington Place and... soon to arrive - The Dustbinmen
All cheap - none dodgy!
;D

A lot of the stuff I've got isn't available on DVD. I do occasionally splash out on kosher stuff, if it's good ;D

I was the one Zygon was talking to about this series , got it on superb quality DVD from HMV , like you , i`d forgotten about this series , but its great , almost surreal in places , 1st episode our heros`s introduce themselves to the new boy , (Who turns out to be a werewolf) , including the dead body of his predecessor , who cos he didn`t have any relatives to bury him , they didn`t tell the company he was dead so split his wages among them , although they do complain that they spend most of it on air freshner , trouble is when you try to explain what its about , it doesn`t sound funny , but it is , and with 3 great actors in it , definately a cult classic.

Ah yes the werewolf episode... I can still recall it - the lad's in the lad, and gets accused of "Pulling his pud" (as all students do) ;D

I dismissed it at the time after seeing one episode. Having been working in security now though for 14 years it doesn't seem surreal at all!!
