"Here we come, walkin' down the street. We get the funniest looks from everyone we meet. Hey hey we're the Monkee's and people think we monkey around, but we're too busy singing to put anybody down........" I was a fan too but that was back in the 60s when they were originally shown here. My favorite, of course, was Davy Jones. I thought his accent was sooooo dreamy. If I'd only known back then that I'd be married to a British guy. ;D They still play their music on classic oldies stations over here and I still love the old stuff. By the way, did you know that Mike Nesmith's mother invented white out, the correction fluid for typist? She made buckets of money from that. My favorite song is: Um well, there's so many great songs it's hard to pick just one so here are my top 10 1. Daydream Believer 2. A little bit me, a little bit you. 3. (I'm not your) Steppin Stone 4. I'm a Believer 5. Last Train to Clarksville 6. Look Our (here comes tomorrow) 7. Words 8. Pleasant Valley Sunday 9. Your Auntie Grizelda 10. Mary, Mary That's only a small bit of all the great songs they did. That was real feel good music and I haven't heard some of those songs in ages, I'll have to see if I can find some online. Thanks for reminding me of them.
