"Nanu Nanu!"Starred Robin Williams as Mork, the alien from Ork and Pam Dawber as Mindy. It ran for 95 episodes in the U.S between 1978-1982 The U.K. only screened 59 episodes of this between 1979-1981 I remember enjoying this as a kid, and have seen it since on one of the satellite channels. How it's aged! I used to like the scenes in the black place with Mork's boss Orson! I even had a toy of this... It was a Mork figure (Star Wars style) in it's own little egg type spaceship thingy! The ewoks used to nick off in it!

I had one of them too - blue interior, and the egg was in 2 parts with a 'window' in it!
;D
I used to love the show - it has dated.
Also... thre's an episode I'd like to see again where there's a character who's surname is "W*nker" - straight up - and Mork keeps doing plays on words with his name (as he did with all) - the irony makes it even funnier!
;D

Then... no. They've sussed it now thanks to various British films - U2 said it on and episode of "The Simpsons" too. Also - Al Bundy's wife was originally "Peggy W*nker" aka "Peggy W*nker don't bother to thank her" - again, funny on different levels. Mad stuff - but then again, ask a Yank if they have a "Johnsons The Cleaners" and they'll no doubt lol. Means summat else there. ;D N.

Hang on. I've forgot what this thread was about now! Oh yeah, Mork & Mindy.... I lost my Mork figure you know! I ended up handing the egg-ship over to Luke Skywalker (in his black jedi outfit!) ;D (I didn't have the 'X' Wing pilot one!)

I loved this show. Mork and Mindy were such a cute couple. This show had some great actors and I really miss it. They jumped the shark when they had them get married and have a child, played by Jonathan Winters. Jonathan is a great comedian, but the concept that Orkans age in reverse was very silly.
