 Now should we inlcude J.V. in this thread? After all, he does state "I'm Johnny Vegas, I'm not a comedian...I'm an entertainer.... I don't do JOKES, I don't do gags...... I don't SAY 'do you know wod it's like when this happens... or do y'know woritts like when that happens'...."But he does get on stage and make people laugh, so for me, he is a stand-up comedian. I've always fancied going watching Johnny, just to see for myself if he's really any good. The only thing I've seen of his stand-up is on the extras of 'Who's for ice-cream', which is pretty good, but I wouldn't like to be on the front row! Johnny does seem to have an intimidating factor about him. The only other bits of stand-up I've seen is the Johnny Vegas tribute act.... JOHNNY GREENBACK |

Well said and good fer you neil!!! and I like mr vegas I think hes shit funny. thats a huge accolade from me cos I u know I is a real dinosaur and still fond of folks like Ted Ray and Charlie Williams.

I find him very mixed really. I saw him doing the support for Rob Newman at The Citadel, and until then had hated everything I had seen him do. The gig was great though. He is much better at standup, but thats not really what people get to see him do.

great bloke with a great act only downside was that series he did for channel 4 didnt work (hes better than that)
