Has anyone in the UK ever heard of (or seen) the Blue Collar Comedy team from the US? They're based in the southeast and come across as southern "good ol' boys" or rednecks, but they're fookin hilarious.
There's four of them, and they each have their own 'thing' when they perform separately, but when they work together, they're awesome. As well as their stage shows they also have a TV show (called, imaginatively, Blue Collar TV) and to equate it to the UK, if a north-of-England version was made, it would be made up of comedians like Peter Kay, Johnny Vegas, and, say, Paul O'Grady, with maybe someone like Billy Connolly chucked in too.
If anyone has a chance to see them, I'd try.
