The miserbale b*stard. They wouldn't know comedy if it hit 'em the b*llocks.
Ken used to be a good friend of mine. I shared the stage with him at Pontin's in Wales once. He was on before me and told most of the gags I was going to do. I had to cut my act down because of him.
We both laughed about it later on though. We Had a few drinks and a good chat, and became good pals after that. Not seen him for years now, but he's a bloody beltin' fellow.

For those lazy buggers who can't be arsed clicking on the link to see what we're talking about... It is this comment by someone who uses the name majestikmoose9 "Appalling. I'm a huge fan of good British humor, and let me tell you, this is NOT good humor of any kind. I didn't laugh a single time. Any comedian who keeps laughing continuously at his own jokes and frequently says, "We are having a good time now, aren't we?" is a complete idiot. How he managed to even make those lousy pepperpot British housewives laugh is beyond me. 1/5 stars." This has since been followed up by a comment from Bobby Razzle (from here) "Ken is an absolute gem. As for the previous comment, you wouldn't know good comedy if it hit you between the legs. Don't you understand, laughing at his own jokes is what his act is all about. Try looking on e-bay for a 'sense of humour', you miserable bugger." and another by columbo (a.k.a. chewbaxter) "What MUST it be like not to be able to have an emotion? What the heck is wrong with seeing someone enjoying themselves and laughing at what they say? Erm... hello? Outtakes... Bloopers... etc. the tv is full of 'em and often included as extras on DVD - it's great to see someone laugh.
Do yourself a favour - find comedy - introduce yourself.
Don't be a stranger, y' here?
Signed: Mr. Al Avalaff on behalf of the BWPS (British Womens Pepperpot Society). "

If you want to link it from Laughter Therapy, go ahead. The more views it gets, the better! Link any I've put on if they're suitable for you. I can recommend the Beaker one! (fast approaching 45000 views now!) I've seen your comment about Johnny Greenback n'all! [tuts]

I've seen your comment about Johnny Greenback n'all! [tuts] ;D Reeto - I'll sort the link to the Ken one when I get time. So... why do I think it's therapeutic? Well... an use of laughter that is seen to raise one's mood can be seen as beneficial (I've loads of proper research to back that up)... More than that though... rather than just 'deliver' comedy... Ken appears to ruddy well enjoy it all - and that makes it funnier - the corniest gags work even better! "You shouldn't laugh at your own jokes" some might say - but he's proof that it works better - there is true value in anyone who can SHARE rather than DIRECT humour... That's why I didn't bother with stand-up - seriously, I prefer 'two-way' rather than 'one-way' traffic - sharing humour... and I've applied it too (yep - done some 'Laughter Therapy' sessions proper. Also - because me material's shite! ;D Ken's stuff although directed is 'shared' through his laughter and makes you feel a part of it - so you do feel that everyone is having a good time. Now... what I would like to do is direct some comments to him, and get some input to add to my 'Laughter Therapists' section along with Jim D, Jimmy C and Lanny Fueterre (a great U.S. chap who I'm often in correspondence with). If anyone has any way of contacting Mr. Goodwin - please let me know. N.
