Back on the subject of Ken Goodwin. Anyone know where exactly he comes from? (I think it's mentioned on the documentary on the Comedians DVD, but can't remember) Zygon? Erm...No I can't!

One of me obsessions... when I don't know something it bugs me (remember the times I had to phone ye re: album/song titles... and half the time I remembered what they were as I was telling ye the tale). Well - it's summat I NEVER KNEW to start with... but I need to know now! Someone help!!! N.

Just watched the documentary... no clues as to where he's from... but I have to say a belting piece of film! I didn't know that he'd wrecked his hand and was told he wouldn't be able to play the banjo again... and overcame that! As someone who plays a musical instrument I can empathise - I fractured a bone in my hand and was out of action for ages - and it does depress you when you can't do the thing you enjoy (expecting a crude comment there no doubt ). Really enjoyed the documentary - he comes across as a sincere and genuinely funny man off the stage - not often you see that... I know it's donkey's years since it was made, but it's a blinder! Now let's hope I get me email through to Ken - because when I get in touch, I'll have to direct him here to this thread - loads of stuff here for him to read which is complimentary and well meant! HELLO KEN in advance! ;D N.
