What the hell's carboard hill I hear you ask!
This.....
I used to play down here as a kid. It's at the bottom end of Beech Hill, near what used to be St. Andrews labour club (now Farmfoods)
It all started by simply just rolling down the hill for fun (as you did!), then we discovered some big pieces of cardboard lying about at the bottom. All of us decided it would be a good idea to use some of this cardboard by placing it on top of the hill, sitting on it then siding down the hill in race fashion!
Remember, this was before the days of computers and t'internet, so this was a good way of making our own fun. Best of all, it cost nowt!
