We have never had good luck with ANY gaming console. We've had several PS2s that have gone back to the store for various reasons. And now the XBOX we bought less than 2 months ago died. It was a re-conditioned one so it shouldn't have been a big surprise. Still, I believe that someone is trying to tell us that we shouldn't own game consoles of any kind. We had been thinking of getting a re-conditioned xbox360 come Christmas, but now we've both decided that game systems are not for us. We can be happy with the numerous games we have for our PC. So, unless we are given one as a present from someone else, we are never going to own another gaming console.

There's nothing worse than dodgy stuff.
Although, it does make you wonder why an x-box 360 would have to re-condtioned in the first place. After all, they aren't that old. If something needs reconditioning after a short life span, then it mustn't ave worked so good originally.
That said, brand new stuff can also play up too. The first laptop I bought brand new died after only 2 years!
I reckon it's just a technology thing. We can't win no matter what we choose to do!
