Went to Martin Mere again this morning. Spent most of the time in the hides testing out my new 'Hide Clamp' in conjunction with my 'scope - absolutely excellent - very easy to adjust, 'steer' and 'lock on' as required. Spent quite a while just watching a Grey Heron hunting - I'm always in awe of these critters as their head's dart into the water for their prey. Anyhow, saw quite a few birds including: Grey Heron Green Sandpiper Avocet Lapwing Barn Swallow Buzzard and one suprise visitor - a Marsh Harrier - clearly in view and remained so for quite a number of minutes. Anyhow - I thought I'd better take a few photos before leaving - so here they are: Barn Swallow on fencepost
