Went to Martin Mere today (25th July, 2008) with my wife... saw plenty of birds and I wanted to show her the Avocet that are there... there were four of them... sadly, no photo as it was too far away to get and I was without tripod... we saw some birds at the feeding station too including a Great Spotted Woodpecker, some Chaffinch and Greenfinch. Anyhow - here are some photos I took - a mixture of 'captive' and 'wild' birds... hope you like them folks! Grey Heron Black-headed Gull Greater Flamingo Black Swan White-headed Duck Freckled Duck N.

Again, good stuff. I like Robins. They remind me of Worzel Gummidge & Christmas!

Glad ye like Mr. Sheds... here's more by the way... Well... you did ask! "Gooses... Geeses..."? A quote from "Charlie And The Chocolate Factory" - when Verrucca Salt starts to sing and ends up being dumped as a 'bad egg'. What? You don't know what I'm referring to? !!! I say - watch the film - a classic! Anyhow - never mind all that... here's more of my photos taken at Martin Mere (27th July, 2008) - this time they're all of Gooses... Geeses... Let's not start that again! Hope you like the photos!
Andean Goose
Ashy-headed Goose
Bar-headed Goose
Barnacle Goose
Hawaiian Goose a.k.a. 'Nene' (asleep lol)
