Just finished watching the 'Doctor Who - New Beginnings' box set (Keeper of Traken / Logopolis / Castrovalva)
There's a beltin' documentary on Logopolis discussing Tom Baker leaving the show and his marriage to Lalla Ward. (A lot of which I'd not heard before)
Classic line from Tom: (referring to the new regeneration)
"And they told me I'd be coming back as a bloody vet!"

Or lying... when did ye last see a cursor? Back in the auld Commodore 64/ZX Spectrum Days... ye had 'em all the time - but now - no chance. Not unless yer typing in BASIC or some other prog. other than windows... Oh - unless ye count the cursor when ye type a message in...CRAP! That's my argument folded - apologies! ;D N. Actually Neil you're still right. Technically the little flashing | that you see in message board entry forms, Windows word processors etc, is called an Insertion Point, not a cursor. So unless PIB really IS typing in BASIC or something, she's not actually looking at a cursor but an insertion point. So there. ;D

a very cool film although not what i expected Hanging up follows Eve (the luminous Meg Ryan) as she tries to keep uncountable balls in the air at once. She also seems to spend her life on the cellular phone, whether it be running her business, talking girl talk with her sisters (Diane Keaton, who also directed, and Lisa Kudrow), or handling her curmudgeon of a father (the late Walter Matthau) as he careens from one crisis to another. Walter Matthaus last film Matthau became a major star in the 1960s, starring in hits including The Odd Couple and The Fortune Cookie, for which he won a best supporting actor Oscar. But he also experienced his first health problems when he suffered a heart attack while making that film. Three years later, Cactus Flower became an Oscar-winning comedy that saw Matthau star alongside Ingrid Bergman and Goldie Hawn. Surgery In California Suite, Matthau starred with Michael Caine, Jane Fonda and Maggie Smith, who won an Oscar for her role. He continued his career despite heart bypass surgery, being hospitalised for pneumonia and having a colon tumour removed. His last film, Hanging Up, starring Diane Keaton, Meg Ryan, was released just months before his death. Eve is the glue that really holds her family together, the rock upon whom everyone else leans, until finally she’s had enough and lashes out at her sisters during a moment of crisis.

Watched "Comedy COnnections - The Office" on BBC1 - good stuff... but then I like the Office. N. Scuse me, Inspector, but have you seen David Brent's Microsoft training videos? Apparently, as a joke only meant for the staff, Microsoft UK hired Ricky Gervais and Stephen Marchant to do a motivational video for Microsoft employees. Naturally it got leaked onto the internet here.Apparently it's like the lost episode of The Office. Enjoy.

Just started on The A Team Season 4. 1st episode a feature length special. There's a massive amount of campness to it since season 3! And there's quite a few episodes before I'm up to the 'Boy George' one! ...And that reminds me of something I've not said for ages "No cigars, no Benedict!" ;D
