I've just had an afternoon drinking session with a few of my old mates. It was bloody beltin' too.
It made me think about you lot on here. You're all younger than me. I've took notice while I was out, what the young people of today are supping. It's always in a bottle, and it's either green or blue. What's all that. It looks like p*ssin' anti-freeze!
So what do you lot like? Me, I enjoy a few pints of Tetley's, then later on, three or four double whiskey's. Has to be 'Bells' or something with a proper name. That cheap shit gives me bloody heartburn, which is not good for me, as I've already had two heart attacks already!
So wot s'up?

I don't drink... used to, but I didn't like the 'downer' it created... and as a Mental Health Practitioner (very posh) I've seen too many of the neg. effects and it's put me off. So now - it's either Cherry Coke or usually these 'Zero' pops... like Sprite!  N. |

I don't drink these days either but when I did, I was partial to Fosters, Boddingtons, and Jack Daniel's.

Can you get 'Boddies' over there paul? Yeah, proper stuff actually imported from Manchester. Nearest place to us is a 25 mile drive though. The local offy does do Newcastle Brown though... ....but it's all moot anyway since I quit. |
