Battered Calimari...Which I first had on a night out with Master Shake...Remember? Blimey, good memory! It vaguely rings a bell, though only just. Sadly our nights out were a long time ago. Renee and I went out to a friends for dinner tonight. He did a load of stuff on his grill including chicken and hotdogs, and even home grown veggies, which were really good. His wife wasn't really up for it (she's still getting over a broken ankle and on pain meds) which is a shame, but we had a good night.

Ah!
I remember lots of funny food like squid and kangaroo, I remember lots of free pints since we kept finding and using those vouchers we were only supposed to have two each of and had about twenty of. I remember a big screen TV with Australian Rules Football on it, and I remember the barmaid was kind of cute...
But I only vaguely remember battered calimari. Weird that, innit?
Was a bloody good nite out though.

We had Tuna Melt sandwiches for dinner today. If you've never had one they are very yummy. Just make your favorite tuna mayo and add cheese, then grill it as you would a grilled cheese sandwich. Serve with chips (crisps) and yummo!

Bratwurst sausage, beans, and a recipe of Renee's Mom's I call greasy potatoes.
Basically sliced potato wedges cooked in the oven, seasoned with salt, pepper, onion, and butter.
They're delicious, but we only have them once in a blue moon coz they're not good for you. We had this for dinner last night, as a special treat.
