Yesterday was Thanksgiving, the day when all Americans give thanks to our forefathers who came to a strange new land to build a new life. Most Americans have a traditional meal of roast Turkey with sage dressing, gravy, cranberry sauce, olives, veg and usually candied yams or squash.(see picture)

We had Chicken instead of Turkey because 10 pounds of Turkey for 2 people is way too much, and we didn't have any yams or squash. We ate way too much but boy was it great.
