Eyeglasses

My rant of the day is about eyeglasses. As I've gotten older I rely on them more and more. What bugs me is after a month or so of getting a new pair they start to creak. Everytime I adjust them they make a creaking sound. I'm afraid they will break then I have to wait the two weeks to have them repaired..

The last pair I had the people at the shop made so many mistakes shipping them out. I had to wait three weeks to get them back. I resorted to watching t.v...wait for it........through birdwatching Bincolurs. Pretty grim.

First thing I put on every morning. Before my pants !! No good going to the loo without them . That's why I have three pairs. ;D


I must live in the right place as my Optician always has a 2 for 1 offer on, and this time it was 3 for 1.


I do know what you mean about them creaking though. When I had big glasses, they were always OK, but as they have got smaller and smaller over the years, they have also got more flimsy.
