I really hope this picture (which is kind of shocking, I feel) doesn't offend anyone, but here's yours truly, holding a pair of pants, which, in January '08, fit me perfectly.

A few months back KK and Dingo saw a pic of me, and comparing it to an older picture, KK said he thought I'd lost an entire pair of shoulders. I'll admit I still have a way to go, but I'd now say I've almost lost an entire person.

Great achievement Shake. You must have had great determination to do that. Well done.

Well, basically, it was do it or die. I'd got to the point where my health was bad enough that if I didn't make major changes at the very least I'd have ended up back in hospital.

As it is, doing the right thing, following proper medical advice etc etc, I've never felt better.
