Oh boy, what a weekend we've had. Got home from work on Saturday to find an assortment of paramedics, ambulances and police outside a house at the end of our Close. Then the coroner turned up and took away the body of one of our delightful junky neighbours who'd just got out of prison and decided to celebrate with a bit too much of the hard stuff.
We have some great neighbours and it's spoiled by one family, none of whom work, and are in and out of prison on a regular basis. I may sound like a bit of a snob here, but I work 6 days a week and Mrs L works 4 days, just so we can support tossers like them. We've had no end of police cars calling at almost hourly intervals over the last couple of days.
They also have two Staffordshire bull terriers, over which they have no control, and we can't let the kids out to play when they are out as they have already attacked two other dogs. One of the dogs got out while the police were there this morning and one of the policemen looked decidely worried, so we're hoping they might do something about them soon.

Wow. I'll take my moron landlords any day over a situation like that, Mr. L.

Yikes! Blimey, I've had some strange neighbours that I'd rather not chat to (being polite here) in the past, but nothing like that!!

;D ;D ;D Came home today to see two of the nutters having a punch up. One of them has a small motorbike that they take turns at riding up and down at great speed at the end of the road. It is (or was) extremely noisy and they regularly shatter a sunday afternoon peace. Anyway, one of them apparently took a corner too fast and damaged the bike. Unfortunately he didn't damage himself ! Now the bike doesn't work at all, from what I could gather from the f*cks that were flying about during the fight.

We have lots of trouble with one of our neighbors. Last week his little dog escaped. It was gone for a long time. The first and only person he blamed was us. He came around asking if we left the gate that we both use open. Of course we didn't. Then next time he came back he was furious. Started to yell and swear and threaten us. Saying it was my little one and we better help him find the dog. Now I know for a fact my little one did not go near the gate. He assumed that my little one did. Because the day before it was open and my little one rode the bike through it. Not this day though I was outside the whole time. He started to threaten some more. I then said that what he is saying is threatening and he should stop. It went on for awhile. He thinks everything that goes wrong in the neighborhood is our fault. A real loon. In the end the dog was caught and brought back home. I have no idea how it got out. But his dad just lets the dog out and forgets about it. The thing is the previous week he was ranting about the guy across the street and his mangy cats. He threatened to K**L him. So next time he freaks out I am calling the police. He volunteered the information that he has two assault charges against him already. So I am not taking any of his behavior lightly.

>:(Just had to fork out £110 for a bus pass for eldest to get to school next term (term , not year !!!), while the lazy cow over the road is boasting that as she's on benefits she gets it for free. Can work/won't work, but oh, surprisingly they can run a very professional boot sale stall.
