Written by Peter Kay, Dave Spikey & Neil Fitzmaurice. One of the best comedies in recent years. Two very good series' with more quotes in it than you can shake a stick at! It definately shows how Peter Kay needs help with the writing side of things. Should they do a third series? I think another series could work, or at least some specials. by the way, I know of a very good Phoenix Club forum, why not join them! Unquestionably brilliant. Sadly, with PN2 Peter Kay peaked at the age of only 28. It's been downhill all the way ever since, but we still cling to the hope that maybe one day he'll put his vast ego to one side and team up with Spikey and Fitzmaurice once again.

I thought there was more about PN in this thread! Must be scattered around others!..
Anyway, as to a third series, I don't know if that will ever happen or not, but if it does, Dave Spikey will have nothing to do with it.
I heard it last night from the man himself...
Question from someone in audience - "Will you be doing anymore Phoenix Nights?"
The simple answer was....
"No, I will not be doing anymore"
So the question now is 'Will Mr. Kay try and do it on his own, and if so will it be any good?"
We'll have to wait and see.

He'd be daft to try, but also for the £££ grabbing it wouldn't surprise me.

Another point...If Both Dave and Neil refuse to have anything to do with it... What happens to Jerry and Ray?
I told him I'd help out but he's not...
Hoho, silly me - ye meant...
Ah, never mind!

Well Mr. Kay has piped up once more declaring that he is now writing the third series of Phoenix Nights. He's been too busy to write it up until now. Again, there is no mention of Spikey & Fitzmaurice in the writing equation or whether it will really come off or not.
