Not sure if this show has made it to the UK yet, but it is awesome. It's about a group of 4 guys, Sheldon, Leonard, Howard and Raj, who are geniuses, and total nerds. They love going to the local comic book store and playing video games. Their only saving grace is their friendship with Penny, a pretty blond from Nebraska. Howard recently became engaged to his girlfriend Bernadette and Sheldon, who is completely asexual, has a girlfriend named Amy. Leonard was in a relationship with Penny, who lives next door to him and Sheldon. They broke up and he has been dating Priya, Raj's sister. Raj doesn't have a girlfriend due to the fact that he has a phobia that makes it impossible for him to talk to women without drinking alcohol, which turns him into a real ass. The show is hilarious and the whole Collective love it.

We've watched a couple now..... I like the sci-fi references.... brings out the nerd in me... I agree completely about the inner nerd. Oddly, I can relate to it a lot. Last nights new episode, where Raj falls in love with Siri on his iPhone was hilarious! As someone who's recently got an iPhone, I see the humor with an ironic twist. Thankfully my iPhone, whilst brand new, is an older model and can't use Siri. This is a good thing. I already have two women bossing me around. I don't need a third! |

I'm quite into it now.... it tends to be on when I get home from work so we watch it while we have tea.
Now that I know the characters better I quite enjoy it!
