Many thanks. Didn't get off to a good start.Woke up to find that one of the cats had crapped on my youngest's schoolbag. Then there was the 4 inches of snow I had to clear off the drive so we could get my car out. Then the engine light came on (hopefully just the fuel filter a bit blocked, which happened this time last year in the icy weather) so I had to dig Mrs L's car out instead.
Crawled in to a very empty town to go to Pizza Express, which was as usual very nice, and home to watch a film.
Got some nice presents too, including A J Marriott's new book about the L & H tours.

Nice book, shame about the author.....  teehee! What is it about cars breaking down on birthdays?! I didn't take that risk this year & left the car behind.... |
