I'm currently working on a compilation video to show at one of our tent meetings later this year. I'm after television clips that have any reference to Laurel & Hardy. I've already got a few lined but I'm sure between us, we can think of more. Up to now I'm incuding things like the Benny Hill show, Tommy Cooper, Red Dwarf, The 'Stan' play, Spitting Image sketch from the 80's, a poster on the set of 'Friends', Ronnie Barker's 7 of One episode. That's the kinda thing I'm after.... And open to suggestions. I know some of them are long and complete episodes in some cases. I'll just use snippets from those. It's work in progress. I aim to show about 20-30mins of edited footage in October, so plenty time. Cheers.     |

If anyone's got the clips from Corrie too.
There's one where Betty Turpin & Bet Lynch are dressed as Stan & Ollie
and a scene with Stan & Hilda. Hilda says to Stan "Here's another fine mess you've gotten us into Stanley!"

We watched a video the other night called Rowan Atkinson's Guide To Visual Comedy, which had a picture of L&H on the front, so we thougt it could be interesting...... but no. It only had 2 tiny clips, one of which had been dubbed wrongly!
....the tape has since been given back to the charity shop.

Done a bit of research. Found I have this one on DVD...
Ffwd to 6.23 for the scene I was looking for.
Also found this but it isn't available on DVD.
Go to 5.09
The clips are coming on well now too (Big Thanks to Beaker)
It'll probably end up being shown in two or three parts the way it's going
